| THE ILIAD -SETTING- |
| The story of ,"The Iliad" has, as it main setting, the city and surrounding areas of Troy. It also, in parts, takes place in and around Mt. Olympus. Both of these are in Greece. Do an internet search and create two parts of information. The first part should detail the setting of "The Iliad" in its historical context. Provide a map of the area as it was back then and describe the scenes and surroundings. The second part should cover what those areas are like today. What is it called, if different, today? Is anything still standing? Are there museums with artifacts? Research these things and include pictures and links. Be thorough, as it may take you more than a simple page to cover all the material. |
