| Rename the play, recreate the storyline, and retell the plot of Act 1 in a more contemporary setting,....today. What two names would you use instead of Romeo and Juliet? Where would the story take place? What would the family names be? And their friends? Instead of swords? How would the initial fight begin? What kind of pary would the boys crash? How would he meet Juliet? What would he say? Rewrite the story of the first act. You do not have to write it in play format. You can work in a group of 3, but no more.
